Celluloid Salon series breathes new life into the audio-visual experience, pairing obscure silent film shorts with soundtracks curated (and DJ'd live) by today's boldest musical talent. The Wednesday, November 14th edition of Celluloid Salon will be housed in one of Austin's more unique independent venues, ND. Admission and cocktails will be complimentary, courtesy of Drambuie, the fabled Scottish whiskey-based spiced liquor. Boy Friend, an Austin-based all-femaile three-piece with a passion for dark melodies and thick atmospheric backdrops, will aptly supplement the obscure and abstract elements of the program with a delicate and balancing infusion of their distinctive dreamy style combined with heavier raw improvisational moments.
