The North Door is a live music, performance and events venue, located at the corner of East 5th and Brushy Street in Austin, Texas.  Built into the former soundstage at 501 Studios, the venue features a beautiful event space fully outfitted with one of Austin’s finest stages and sound systems, 2 full bars, balcony seating, and a 25-foot HD video projection wall.  Adjacent to the main room is a cozy cocktail lounge featuring a specialty drink menu and craft beer.  Something for everyone.

The versatility of the room is paramount. We can house 160 seated guests on our main floor, 8 VIP balcony seats and 30 standing room balcony spots per theater type event.

For a standing room only show, we can accomodate 300 with ease.

We book and promote a full calendar of entertainment:  indie rock, burlesque, hip hop, film screenings, comedy, variety shows, dance parties, and much more.  Additionally, we serve as a great facility for private events and production rentals.
